‘We honor two great patriots’
ASA SALUTES 60 PLUS PRESIDENT AMY FREDERICK AND LEGENDARY ENTERTAINER PAT BOONE
ATLANTA— “Our great friend and the president of the Washington-based 60 Plus Association Amy Frederick is a deserving recipient of the prestigious ‘Buckley Award,’ named on behalf of the late conservative icon William F. Buckley,” says Phil Kent, CEO of the American Seniors Association (ASA) representing millions of members nationwide. The annual award is being presented to Mrs. Frederick today by the Young Conservative Coalition at the Capitol Hill Club.
“While ASA salutes Mrs. Frederick as a rising young conservative activist who tirelessly works to protects senior citizens, I am also proud to attend a celebratory October 12 event sponsored by 60 Plus honoring an older constitutional conservative activist-- famed entertainer Pat Boone,” Kent says. “So we honor two great patriots.”
“Boone, a wonderful friend of ASA and the national spokesman for our ally 60 Plus, is to be particularly hailed for his principled stand against the expensive and tyrannical Obamacare law as well as for exposing the AARP’s betrayal of senior citizens and, indeed, all citizens through the AARP’s blind ideological support of Obamacare,” Kent says.
“The approximately 7.1 million 60 Plus Association supporters enjoy reciprocal membership in the American Seniors Association,” Kent notes.
