Letter Regarding Massachusetts Senate Election
Dear Subscribers,
As a nation, we are at the crossroads of some of the most important legislation in American history. There’s power in numbers, and we need your help.
If you are a resident of Massachusetts, you now have the opportunity to stop Congress’ out of control spending and elect someone to the U.S Senate who believes in free market principles, fiscal responsibility, and understands the necessity of protecting our borders. Massachusetts State Senator Scott Brown’s strong record of public service and willingness to fight against wasteful spending and higher taxes prove that he is the right candidate to represent American interests.
Regarding the issue of health care reform, Sen. Scott Brown says, “I believe that all Americans deserve health care coverage, but I am opposed to the health care legislation that is under consideration in Congress and will vote against it. “It will raise taxes, increase government spending and lower the quality of care, especially for elders on Medicare.”
If elected, Sen. Brown’s vote could possibly be the deciding vote in the fight against comprehensive health care reform. As thousands of Americans rally Washington and their respective states by fighting to protect our freedoms through less government intervention and reducing taxes, Senator Brown stands firm in his belief that the strength of our nation is in its people.
History is often our greatest teacher - helping us to remember America’s unwavering strength and the revolutionaries who fought to change history. As a resident of Massachusetts, YOU have the opportunity to take back America “one seat at a time” by voting in the January 19th election.
The time to act is now. Every vote counts.
Sincerely,
Stuart Barton
President, American Seniors Association
