   ASA FAQs:

1.              How much are annual dues?

 $15 a year is our Standard membership. We also have a $9.99 a month membership which includes a prescription discount card. This second option is best for those who have limited or no medical insurance and do not qualify for Medicare

 

2.       How old do you have to be to join ASA?

               

               We believe senior issues are everyone's concern therefore we don’t have an    

    age minimum to join.

3.              Do you get a membership card when you join?

          We print membership cards quarterly. All you need to access your benefits is your membership number which you receive instantly when you join online and in a thank you letter when you join by any other method

 

4.       Is a Donation or Contribution to ASA Tax deductable?

 

While the American Seniors Association is a non- profit; it is not a charity so contributions to the ASA are not tax deductible. ASA is a state non-profit political advocacy group.

 

5.       How is ASA set up (Is it a non- profit)?

 

ASA is a state non-profit political advocacy group and it also has a for -profit company which handles the benefits

 

     6.     Where do you stand on the Second Amendment (Gun control)?

  The American Seniors Association is a Constitutionalist organization and we believe in upholding all of the Constitution including the second amendment. We however have very specific issues that we have chosen to advocate for and those are our four pillars. They are Social Security Reform, Medicare Reform, Tax Reform by way of the Fair Tax, and keeping citizen benefits our of the hands of Illegal Aliens.

7.      I can’t log in to the website; can you help me?

 

It is not necessary to log in to our site. We have found that many of our members found this difficult in the past so we have eliminated that feature. You may have noticed a sign in at the top of our website but that is for administrative purposes only.

 

8.     Do you have a list of benefits?

     

     There are several ways to find out about our benefits. The best resource is our website which is www.americanseniors.org and click on the services page. You can also have a quick benefits reference list emailed to you or you can request a one be mailed to you.
